About A5 Premium Desk Calendar
Product specifications sourced from our UK print partners.
- Supply a print-ready PDF in CMYK with all fonts outlined or embedded
- Supply single pages in reading order — not printer's spreads — with 3mm bleed all round
- Keep text and images at least 8mm from the trim and 10mm from the spine or binding edge
- Total page count must be divisible by 4 for stapled booklets (cover included)
- 300 DPI images at final size; avoid placing critical detail across the centre spread
- Wiro and perfect-bound work loses a few millimetres at the spine — keep page numbers outboard
- RGB files are converted to CMYK for press, which can shift bright blues, greens and oranges
- 250gsm silk cover + 200gsm silk months
- Wire-bound with free-standing easel back
- A5 (148 x 210mm)
- 13 pages (cover + 12 months)
An A5 premium desk calendar sits on a customer's desk for twelve months, in eyeline every working day — an exposure period no other piece of print comes close to matching for the money.
The format works because it is genuinely used: month-to-view pages, space for notes, and a stand that keeps it upright on a crowded desk. Each month is a fresh page for an image, an offer or a service reminder.
Order for delivery in November at the latest. Calendars distributed in January have already lost a month of value and feel like an afterthought.
- 12 months of exposure
- Month-to-view
- Desk-stand format
A5 Premium Desk Calendar buying guide
Written by our studio team — what to choose, and what usually goes wrong.
- Treat each month as its own advert — a different product, project or service rather than the same logo twelve times.
- Include your phone number and website on every page; people tear pages off or flip past the cover.
- Mark UK bank holidays and any dates relevant to your customers' year.
