About Premium Corporate Pens

Product specifications sourced from our UK print partners.

  • Vector artwork only — AI, EPS or vector PDF with all fonts converted to outlines
  • Pixel files (JPG, PNG) can't be pad printed; the plate is etched from vector paths
  • One or two solid spot colours; each colour must be 100% solid with no tints or gradients
  • Keep strokes above 0.5pt and type above 6pt so the pad transfers cleanly to a curved surface
  • Build the design to the exact print area for the item — it is confirmed on your digital proof
  • Supply Pantone references; ink is mixed to match, not built from CMYK

  • Weighted plastic barrel with a substantial hand-feel
  • Chrome trim, click-action
  • Blue ink refill as standard

  • Pad print area: 35 × 8mm on the barrel
  • One spot colour print

The Premium pen sits above everyday giveaway stock — a heavier build and a smarter finish that reads as a considered gift rather than a bulk handout.

Use it selectively for clients, VIP attendees and staff milestones, where the pen itself needs to reflect well on the brand it carries.

Premium Corporate Pens buying guide

Written by our studio team — what to choose, and what usually goes wrong.

  • Desk items (mugs, mats, notebooks) give the longest exposure to a single person — best for clients and staff.
  • Carry items (totes, bottles, umbrellas) travel, so they reach a wider audience — best for events and trade shows.
  • Giveaways (pens, badges, wristbands) are volume plays; price per contact matters more than perceived value.
