- Supply a print-ready PDF in CMYK with all fonts outlined or embedded
- Build to the printable graphic area for your flag size, or at 25% scale
- Add 20mm bleed on all edges — the sewn sleeve and curved leading edge wrap out of sight
- Keep logos and text at least 60mm inside the trim on all sides
- Supply at 25% of final size at 300 DPI, or 100% at 75–100 DPI
- Dye-sublimation shifts colour slightly versus press CMYK — add Pantone references for brand-critical colours
- Single-sided flags show through in reverse on the back; choose double-sided if text must read both sides
- Avoid fine hairlines and small type — flags are read from several metres and move in the wind

Teardrop flags stay readable in wind, which is what separates them from banners on an open site. The sail keeps tension against the pole so the graphic does not flap into an unreadable blur.
Supplied with a ground spike for grass and soft ground. On hard standing you will need a cross base or water base instead — worth ordering at the same time.

- Correx 4mm — fluted plastic, very light, 1–2 years outdoors. Site boards, estate agent signs, event direction.
- PVC banner 440–510gsm — flexible, hemmed and eyeletted, ideal for fences, scaffolding and stands.
- Foamex 5mm — smooth rigid PVC, 3–5 years outdoors, excellent indoors. The default for shop and office signage.
- Aluminium composite (Dibond-type) — two aluminium skins over a polyethylene core. The most rigid and longest-lasting option, 5+ years.
