- Supply a print-ready PDF in CMYK with all fonts outlined or embedded
- Build at the finished sticker size with 3mm bleed all round
- Keep text and logos at least 3mm inside the cut line
- 300 DPI at final size; vector logos give the sharpest small text
- For a bespoke shape, add the cut path as a 0.25pt stroke with no fill in a 100% Magenta spot colour named "Cut contour"
- Avoid very fine spikes or thin necks in a cut shape — they tear on application
- White vinyl is opaque; if you want the material to show through, leave those areas unprinted and tell us

51mm circles are the standard seal size for packaging, jars and mailers. Round stickers are the most forgiving shape to print because there are no corners to reveal cutting drift.
Printed on laminated white vinyl, so they stay legible on chilled and handled products rather than scuffing like paper labels.

Written by our studio team — what to choose, and what usually goes wrong.
- White vinyl — the default. Opaque, waterproof, strong adhesive, 3–5 years outdoors.
- Clear vinyl — for glass and light-coloured packaging, but note the substrate colour shows through unless you specify a white underprint.
- Paper labels — cheaper, fine for indoor jars and short-life packaging, but they will not survive moisture.
