- Supply a print-ready PDF in CMYK with all fonts outlined or embedded
- Request our free dieline template and design on the artwork layer, leaving the guide layers untouched
- Add 3mm bleed beyond every outer edge of the dieline
- Keep text and logos 5mm inside all crease and cut lines
- Never flatten the dieline into your artwork — supply it on its own layer or delete it before export
- 300 DPI images at final size; kraft board darkens colours, so expect a warmer result
- Barcodes must be vector at 100% size with a clear quiet zone

A crash-lock carton has a base that locks itself as you open the box, so packing takes seconds and needs no tape. It is the workhorse retail carton for anything with a bit of weight.
Design from the supplied dieline and keep text 5mm from every crease. The base and glue flap are effectively invisible in use — put the design budget on the lid and the two long faces.
