Don’t worry if you’re not sure about your artwork
We check every file before it goes to print. If we spot something that could affect the finished result, we’ll review it and help you get it sorted wherever we can. We won’t send artwork to production if we think there’s a problem.
For the best print result, please prepare your file using these product-specific guidelines:
- Design to a circle — the badge is round, so build the artwork on a circular canvas at the finished size (38mm or 55mm)
- Supply a print-ready PDF, or a PNG at 300 DPI at final size, with fonts outlined or embedded
- Extend the background fully into the bleed area — around 5mm past the badge edge, because the print wraps around the curve
- Keep logos and text well inside the safe area (at least 5mm in from the badge edge) so nothing is lost on the wrap
- Use the supplier's badge template where one is available for your size
- One design per standard order — mixed designs in a single run are quoted separately

38mm badges are the everyday pin badge size — big enough to carry a logo or short slogan clearly, small enough to wear comfortably on a lapel, lanyard or bag. 55mm gives a bolder design more room to breathe.
